Amy Leeworthy is an artist, mumma, amateur surfer and nature lover, creating mostly clay objects out of her home studio on the Mornington Peninsula.
Drawing on her background in painting and sculpture, Amy employs wheel throwing, hand building, and hand-painting techniques to create her work. Due to her allergy to repetition, the majority of her works are one-offs or made as part of a small series. With an emphasis on longevity, all pieces are fired to stoneware temperatures and are made to last.
