In early 2019, Kate Ritchie went on a trip to Japan with some friends. Whilst over there exploring the beautiful country she came across the most gorgeous and unique earrings. Upon returning to Australia, Kate struggled to find the gorgeous kawaii accessories she had fallen in love with in Japan, so she decided to create her own.  

After much research and roping in her siblings to help out, Brass & Bone was born.
