Hot Pots by Lauren

Lauren or Hot Pots makes functional ceramics with hand-painted designs on them.

She enjoys the idea of putting herself and her experiences into everyday times that others may connect with. Her aim is to connect with her medium and others in all steps. She takes her time with each piece (a small batch potter). She really wants to showcase herself in the work by decorating with funny words, symbolic designs or female/queer things. She hopes that others connect with her work as it’s indirectly about her own experiences as a queer woman.
