KATE PULLEN IS BASED IN MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, AND, AFTER STUDYING GRAPHIC DESIGN AT MONASH UNIVERSITY, NOW SPECIALISES IN LETTERING AND ILLUSTRATION.
Having experience both as an in-house graphic designer and freelance creative, Kate is passionate about the strength of the visual arts — to inspire and lift spirits, but also to spark conversation and personal reflection. She has worked to create pieces that support issues or causes she believes important, as well as utilising illustration and lettering to shine a light on those beautiful aspects of the everyday that are sometimes overlooked.
Keen on community, Kate has curated numerous group exhibitions, sat on the Victorian council of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA); spoken at various design events, and was a part of Australia’s biggest urban art festival Can’t Do Tomorrow in 2020.
