Nicole Hasthorpe
Nicole is a Melbourne based artist who studied Visuals Arts at Monash University and calls the seaside suburb Elwood her home.
Nicole has enjoyed a long and successful career as a photographer, painter and now ceramisist. She has worked in both the fashion and interior design industries and as an Art Director for fashion retailer 'Factory X' which includes the much loved Australian label Gorman.
Nicole inherited a kiln along with her artist talents from her late Grandmother ‘little Nan’ who was also a painter and potter.
Her passion for ceramics was born again after a Gorman Homewares photo shoot in a ceramics studio where she fell in love with the art form and now works full time as a ceramicist and painter and enjoys sharing her love of art with her daughter Poppy
