Tarra Cornell

Tarra Cornell is a writer and poet who grew up on Wurundjeri land in West Melbourne.

Tarra fell in love with words at a young age, creating stories and writing poems for family members as soon as she was old enough to write.
Tarra uses her poetry to empower women and girls, to offer strength and show solidarity while dealing with her own trauma. She wants to show that there is no shame in mental health struggles, that there is beauty in our heartbreak and that we are not alone in the darkness of life.
