The Staple Store

Author Catie Gett takes four things very seriously; being a mama, health promotion & education, feminism and the environment.

Catie is a successful Naturopath, with ten-years of clinical practice behind her. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science, she has established her practice and opened the much-celebrated nominal-waste wholefood shop, The Staple Store, in Ripponlea, Melbourne.

Catie employs an accessible writing approach designed to reach a wide range of demographics, via a number of platforms.  She is passionate about educating people regarding wellness, preventative health, integrative medicine and food as medicine.  As an environmentalist, she is passionate about wholefood eating, reduced waste foods, local provenance and organic agriculture.

She has crowd funded and self published her first book, the womens health initiative Notes To My Future Daughter’, which consolidates her expertise in women's health and nutrition. Following it's success, Catie has recently released the companion book 'Notes To My Future Son', addressing the mental health pandemic facing men today.

Catie lives in Melbourne with her daughter Scout, a pile of laundry, a half-eaten piece of cold buttered toast, an enviable muesli collection, and her well-loved MacBook Air.
