WOMEN* NOW 2024 Art Calendar
We're looking for twelve Victorian-based Women* artists to contribute to our annual Queen Victoria Women's Centre 2024 Art Calendar.
The Theme of the calendar is WOMEN* NOW
Our theme reflects the current moment. It's a call for an intersectional feminist future, and for women to be seen and heard and to hold space. Artists are encouraged to interpret this theme any way they like.

Submissions close Monday 28 August.
WINNERS RECEIVE:
💙 Each selected artist will receive an a payment of $250 + 1x copy of the printed calendar.
💙 Artworks will also be included in our WOMEN* NOW group art exhibition at the end of the year, to be held in the Birnbeal gallery space at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
💙 Competition open to Victorian Based artist who identify as Women*. (Cis, trans and non-binary folks who feel comfortable in women’s spaces).
💙Artwork should work in portrait format. Calendars will be printed as A4 portrait size. Dimensions 210mm (W) x 297mm (H). *NOTE: Artwork submitted in any other dimensions may need to be cropped to fit calendar template.
💙You are welcome to enter as many artworks as you like.
💙 Previous entrants and winners are welcome to submit again this year.
💙 Winners will be selected by QVWC SHOP Team. Winning entries will be contacted by Mid September.
💙 Finalists will be contacted via DM and asked to submit a high res. version of their artwork via email to shop@qvwc.org.au
💙 Calendars will be available for sale via our online store from October.
Note: Artwork does not need to be created exclusively for this calendar, however you as the artist must own the license to your work, and it may not be licensed anywhere else except your own sales channels. (eg. the same artwork should not be sold to another brand).
QVWC agrees to use your artwork for the specified purpose only and will not be reproduced and sold elsewhere. Artists retain the rights to their original artwork.
