In 2021, they decided to combine each of their backgrounds in the gifting and fashion industries to create their own company, Happy Day People.

Angela has been making and selling gifts forever, her greatest creation being her daughter Claudia (who wrote this). Angela's extensive history as a maker means she's meticulous about everything she creates.

Being the apple that didn't fall far from the tree, Claudia has taken her inherited love of art and craft and a background in fashion & graphic design to create Happy Day People's original artworks.

After a difficult few years, they wanted to create gifts that were colourful, funny and celebrated Australia. Having worked in similar industries for many years, they are both passionate about creating considered, quality products. At every stage, they are conscious of the ethical and environmental impacts of their work. They have worked hard to ensure their sourcing is as traceable as possible so nothing nasty sneaks in.
