Jubly Umph

TASHA IS THE DESIGNER AND OWNER OF JUBLY UMPH, A CUTE AND QUIRKY BRAND OF ACCESSORIES WITH SOMETHING (OKAY, MANY THINGS) TO SAY.

In the narrative of Tasha's life, she's often found herself echoing that same old sob story. From her days as the overweight, outsider child, to the present where she still find solace in books and sketching in the margins of notebooks, her journey reads like a cliché coming-of-age film titled ‘Coffee and Teen Angst.’

It was a tough ride. Constantly shifting from one school to another, battling introversion and grappling with depression, Tasha felt perpetually at odds with the world around them. Yet, amidst the struggle, she found a resolve to rewrite her narrative. Deciding that if she perpetually felt different, she might as well embrace it, and set out to chart a unique path for themselves. Tasha dreamt of traversing the globe as an artist, a feminist, a vegetarian, and a black belt in karate - a tapestry of identities that defied convention and spoke to her inner truth.

But it wasn't an overnight transformation. Tasha's journey toward self-acceptance and confidence has been a protracted one, marked by battles with inner demons and moments of profound self-doubt. Through myriad jobs and countless cities, she navigated towards a singular belief: that her voice mattered, and her story was worth telling.

Now, Tasha stands as a testament to the power of embracing one's quirks and idiosyncrasies, a beacon of hope for those who feel like they don't quite fit in. Her hope is to inspire others to embrace their weirdness, to revel in their uniqueness, and to stay weird, unapologetically.
