Each necklace by Mrs McPearl is made using vintage beads personally sourced by Norma from secondhand shops, markets and unexpected corners. What began as an experiment - rethreading her own jewellery into new mixes and lengths - quickly turned into a growing collection driven by a love of colour and curiosity.

Norma is a long-time op-shop browser with a keen eye for overlooked treasures. Her pieces embrace contrast and character, unapologetically combining plastic beads with semi-precious stones, crystals and pearls of varying quality. To her, the story behind each bead is just as meaningful as the necklace it becomes.
