Second Stitch

Second Stitch is a Melbourne-based not-for-profit social enterprise celebrating the skills, stories and traditions of refugees, migrants and people seeking asylum. Their Coburg studio produces beautiful handmade gifts, designed, cut and sewn from new and upcycled fabrics. They provide accredited Certificate III training in Clothing and Textile Production and run weekly community sewing days, welcoming all ages and abilities to connect, learn, and create together.
