By Amanda Anastasi and Tarsha Davis

The feminist poetry of Amanda Anastasi paired with original artwork by Tarsha Davis, printed on a cotton tea towel.  This delightfully subversive collaborative art project brings women artists, poets and designers together to express how they are brave in this world.

The project was led by Maja, and brought together 4 Melbourne women poets, 1 West Australian woman poet and Melb / Townsville / Cairns artists together to design this range collaboratively.

Size and materials

The tea towels are 700mm x 500mm, made of premium cotton & designed and printed in Australia by women.
Cold wash first. No softener or bleach. Warm iron on reverse.

About the Author

Amanda Anastasi is a Melbourne poet published both locally and internationally, including in Best of Australian Poems 2025, Best Australian Science Writing, Griffith Review, The Massachusetts Review and Red Room. About the Artist

Tarsha Davis is a Kuku Yalanji and Palawa woman and multidisciplinary artist working across painting, digital art, weaving, jewellery, and textiles. Her practice is grounded in story, identity, and community, drawing on both traditional knowledge and contemporary techniques to create bold, layered narratives. Alongside her creative practice, Tarsha has worked across the arts, community, and justice sectors, delivering and managing programs focused on improving wellbeing and access to services. Tarsha is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Fashion Design at RMIT, where she continues to expand her practice at the intersection of art, design, sustainability, and advocacy. Tarsha is interested in how materials hold meaning and memory, and is exploring how sustainability and storytelling can shift perspectives on consumption and value.
