My constant search for expansion and knowledge brought me to Australia.
Here, I began to dedicate myself to my true passion: painting. Living in Naarm has broadened my perspective of the world by meeting other artists. It was also the beginning of a process of self-search and empowerment as an artist and as a migrant woman.
Since 2019, my work has been exhibited in different spaces. I had a solo exhibition atBendigo Bank Carltonin 2021 and a recent solo exhibition at Brunswick Street Gallery called “Empowering Women”. I was also a finalist for the SBS Portrait Prize in 2021.
I also was given a grant from Regional Arts Victoria and Creative Victoria called "Sustaining Creative Workers Initiative 2021" to develop my artistic practice. This included two workshops with Melbourne's community and the organisation SisterWorks. This also encouraged me to start a series of new art workshops for adults and children, which is what I'm currently working on.
At the end of 2022, in the Collaboration with Sisterworks, I was selected as a featured artist to wrap the Yarra Tram from January 31, 2023.
