Kate Buttery
Driven to create from a young age, Kate's artistic practices has led her through textiles, music, theatre, and visual art.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University, where she majored in Theatre and Drama. After some exploration, it is in the field of ceramics where she has found her creative feet. Kate is a theatre-in-education performer and pipe organ restorer in her day jobs, which hold their own respective special brands of creative practice. Her ceramic pieces draw from all of these elements, often giving her style unexpected shapes and themes with a quirky edge.
